PA46 (Polyamide 46) Multi-filament Yarn is made by polycondensation of butanediamine and adipic acid, with a highly symmetric molecular chain, high density of amide groups, and a strong hydrogen-bonding network, which gives it a high degree of crystallinity (approx. 70%) and fast crystallization characteristics. Its melting point is as high as 295℃, heat deflection temperature (HDT) is 160℃ when unreinforced, HDT can reach 290℃ after 30% glass fiber reinforcement, and the long-term service temperature reaches 163℃, which is one of the most outstanding heat-resistant materials among the existing nylons.
Good thermal stability
Low creep
Abrasion resistance
High melting point (285°C)
